2011 is done with a BANG. The New Years Eve party to end all NYE parties included 12 hours of dancing, eating and drinking into 2012. J@M played VJ with memory enhancing visuals while the Homebreaking Records crew played DJ with eclectic house all nite long in front of an igloo packed with beautiful revelers at Chalet Mystique. Every year starts with my favourite event AKA the Freeskiing World Tour in Revelstoke BC - this year combined with the Freeride World Tour to make it a truly global snow shedding event. Our locals have done very well and are ready for Day 2 on the famous Mac Daddy backside of Mount Mackenzie...

Setting the stage for a year filled with healthy challenges and pushing your mind, body and soul to new boundaries. It is exactly what I need for personal and professional goal setting with a positive and passionate attitude working alongside like minded individuals.

But lets not forget the people who have brought us this far. Our parents, some of whom have been lost to health issues beyond control. Life is precious, and experience recovery with respect is of utmost importance to human evolution during the next phase as we program collective technology helping us save the world. Our elders hold much value to put these pieces in place.

Looking forward to pushing ahead while being present for those we cherish and have so much invested in the fantastic lives we have. Occupy 2012 with LOVE, destroy greed, and we will move beyond the broken systems in place and into a new human oriented and more balanced world.

Coming back from Shambhala Music Festival always leaves me with a renewed sense of awareness and empowerment. There is nothing humans cant do on this world - unless mother nature succumbs to the abuse we have given her. Live the way you want with your favourite friends and loving family in a peaceful community you call home.

In many countries its a basic human right and soon this will be the case for all promoting the start of Step 3 which will include all forms of communication including phone (HEAR ME ROGERS!?)

Free web will lead to free education will lead to free knowledge - which will mean faster evolution of the worlds populace to get us to the path of enlightenment and free of oppression.

But Step 2 (Free energy) needs to happen before and we can start the wheels in motion.

Imagine living in a world free from the financial chains you currently have.

LAFLAMME, Mary Donalda On July 19, 2011 at Centenary Hospital in her 94th year, with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Herbert and her youngest daughter Martha. Beloved mother of Louis (Rosemarie) and Eva (David) and son-in-law Gerald. She will be dearly missed by her 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mary was a very loving and proud Matriarch of her large family. Friends and family may gather at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home (Scarborough Chapel), 2900 Kingston Rd. 416-267-4656, on Thursday, July 21st from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 22nd at 10;30 a.m. at St. Theresa's Parish, 2559 Kingston Rd. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal would be appreciated.

A garbage incinerator and ski hill! They are doing it in Copenhagen, so why cant we do the same in Lake Ontario? Waste would heat water to heat homes... and we ski off the building (and into the lake in the summer). That would be cool. Here in Revelstoke burns its local plant wood waste in high efficiency incinerator to heat the municipal buildings. Soon to power Revelstoke Mountain Resort and possibly the rest of the town. Adios foreign fuels dependencies.

A technological creation of superintelligence, a post-singularity world would be unpredictable to humans due to an inability of human beings to imagine the intentions or capabilities of superintelligent entities... for example, the speed of thought could be speeded up by a million-to-one, a subjective year would pass in 30 physical seconds.

We are talking 2030 here folks... says Ray Kurzweil whos 89 out of 108 future predictions he made were entirely correct by the end of 2009. An additional 13 were what he calls “essentially correct" (for a total of 102 out of 108). Another 3 are partially correct, 2 look like they are about 10 years off, and 1, which was tongue in cheek anyway, was just wrong.

In 2030...
  • A $1,000 personal computer is 1,000 times more powerful than the human brain.
  • The eyeglasses and headphones that used to deliver virtual reality are now obsolete thanks to computer implants that go into the eyes and ears. The implants are either permanent or removable. They allow direct interface with computers, communications and Internet-based applications. The implants are also capable of recording what the user sees and hears.
  • Computer implants designed for direct connection to the brain are also available. They are capable of augmenting natural senses and of enhancing higher brain functions like memory, learning speed and overall intelligence.
  • Computers are now capable of learning and creating new knowledge entirely on their own and with no human help. By scanning the enormous content of the Internet, some computers "know" literally every single piece of public information (every scientific discovery, every book and movie, every public statement, etc.) generated by human beings.
  • Direct brain implants allow users to enter full-immersion virtual reality—with complete sensory stimulation—without any external equipment. People can have their minds in a totally different place at any moment. This technology is in widespread use.
  • Most communication occurs between humans and machines as opposed to human-to-human.
  • The manufacturing, agricultural and transportation sectors of the economy are almost entirely automated and employ very few humans. Across the world, poverty, war and disease are almost nonexistent thanks to technology alleviating want.
  • The rise of Artificial Intelligence creates a real "robot rights" movement, and there is open, public debate over what sorts of civil rights and legal protections machines should have. The existence of humans with heavy levels of cybernetic augmentation and of larger numbers of other people with less extreme cybernetic implants lead to further arguments over what constitutes a "human being."
  • Although computers routinely pass the Turing Test, controversy still persists over whether machines are as intelligent as humans in all areas.
  • Artificial Intelligences claim to be conscious and openly petition for recognition of the fact. Most people admit and accept this new truth.
  • Reverse engineering of the human brain completed
  • Non-biological intelligence combines the subtlety and pattern recognition strength of human intelligence, with the speed, memory, and knowledge sharing of machine intelligence
  • Non-biological intelligence will continue to grow exponentially whereas biological intelligence is effectively fixed
